>From http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/ get the
slamr-2.6.28-11-generic.tar.gz
Unpack under Linux with:
$ tar zxf slamr*.tar.gz
Within the new folder slamr-2.6.28-11-generic, browse the documentation and run:
$ sudo ./setup
Once you are online under Linux, run:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dkms
which automates new driver assembly after kernel updates. The source
package for the future updates is downloaded with:
$ sudo apt-get sl-modem-source
Write to the List if further help is needed.
