Antonio Thanks you I rebooted this morning and loaded modprobe snd-intel8x0m only I did not load modprobe ungrab-winmodem then slmodemd -c USA --alsa modem:2 and it loaded. Then wvdial and it worked but would not browse? I had removed from /etc/ppp/resolv.conf the nameserver 68.94.156.1 nameserver 68.94.157.1 so I but it back, still could not browse? So I but the nameserver back in the /etc/ppp/resolv.conf, still could not browse? So I remove auto DNS = yes from the /etc/wvdail.conf and now happily browsing thank GOD!! I am testing KMail now with this email. I hope this helps someone else! PS; I have tried using ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 X3 &C1 &D2 +MS=90 before and that is working now, Thank You.
