I want to migrate from ubuntu to debian, but my problem is my modem. it's a motorola sm56, and works with smartlink drivers... i installed both sl-modem-daemon and source, compiled the modules and all worked. now, it does not connect to the internet. even if i manually launch the module, it keeps on saying (/etc/init.d/sl-modem-daemon status) that the module is not loaded but the var/run exist or something like that. any suggestion?
