Martin,

 My understanding is this:
 agrsm-20090502.tar.gz is for the modems that are not sitting on HDA cards.
 agrsm-2.1.80-5mdv2009.0.tar.gz does have the HDA layer support, but doesn't
 work with the more recent kernels (2.6.28, 2.6.29)
 The dkms-agrsm-2.1.80-7mdv2009.0.tar.gz tarball has the HDA stuff,
 and is supposed to work with the recent kernels too, but it needs some
 testing.

 I would suggest you try the most recent one and see if it works.

 These source tarballs are not distrib specific, they are just sources.
 You can compile them on any host with gcc and linux sources.
