I got this laptop a couple of months ago. I tried conexant hsfmodem, but it failed with "modem unknown" type failure (I cannot remember the exact error message). The I tried to install sl-modem suggested through Ubuntu's hardware drivers. Kppp finds the modem and queries it, but it doesn't work otherwise. I attached ModemData.txt file. Any suggestions are most welcome.
