Borivoj, scanModem recommends 11c11040 drivers: Support type needed or chipset: 11c11040 For Debian/Ubuntu related systems, at http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/ there is an agrsm-tools_0.0.1_all.deb package providies for creation of symbolic links and usage information for modems using agrmodem.ko + agrserial.ko drivers. Download the following debs which should work in your system: http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/agrsm-2.6.27-7-generic_2.6.27-7.14_i386.deb http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/agrsm-2.6.27-7-generic_2.6.27-9.14a_i386.deb NOTE: There are two one with 14a_ and one with 24 only. Don't know what the difference between them is ? This makes things a bit confusing since one does not know which one of the two is better?
