Get the  agrsm-tools package from
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/11c11040/
it does not itself contain drivers, but automates some steps, symbolic
link steps described in the above message

You  have to install the Ubuntu dkms package.

Then get the .deb variant of the  dkms-agrsm code at
http://linux.zsolttech.com/linmodem/

Packages with format Name-version.deb  can be installed by:
$ sudo dpkg -i N*.deb

Write back if you need help.
