While being in folder maurizio@ubuntu
give the command ls
If it does not show hsfmodem...etc.... then you have downloaded the hsf
file in some other folder.
If it does show up, then you probably made a typing error
The command ls will show all the files which are available
in folder maurizio@ubuntu

PS: in which city do you live?
I will try to find somebody who can help you giving such basic
trivial Linux commands.
To help you better than this, I need to be at your computer.
I live 2,500 km away from Italy.
I believe that you need a basic training with Linux before you
can install the software for a modem.
