To make your job a little easier is to activate ATRPMS repo or manually get :

the two matching kmdls from

 http://atrpms.net/dist/f10/alsa-driver/ and
 http://atrpms.net/dist/f10/agrsm/

 If he uses yum and activates atrpms all he has to do is

 yum install alsa-driver agrsm
