Picharras,

The sl-modem-daemon package is NOT useful for your hardware,
11c1:0620       Communication controller: Agere Systems Device
and may even interfere.  Uninstall with:

$ sudo apt-get remove sl-modem-daemon

I'll separately  send you a driver package.
