For any of you needing support of modems with PCI IDs: 11c1:0620 or 11c1:048c or 11c1:048f under Ubuntu kernel 2.6.24-19-generic (or any of the Ubuntu 2.6.24-someVersion kernels) send me an email. I have assembled a Debian type installer package containing agrmodem, agrserial, patched snd-hda-intel , and the dependent drivers required by snd-hda-intel . While snd-hda-intel + its dependent drives are typically already installed on Systems with the 11c11040 modem chip hosted on High Definition Audio cards, these drivers are in general not installed on Systems with other audio card types, but code from snd-hda-intel is needed by the direct modem drivers, agrmodem + agrserial.
