Joe, I would like to recommend the following: http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/Ubuntu/slamr-2.6.24-19-generic.tar.gz but that is for 2.6.24-19-generic kernel, and you are running kernel 2.6.24-21-generic Has someone built the slamr driver for this kernel kernel 2.6.24-21-generic? This way it can be uploaded to http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/Ubuntu/ so that Joe and other Ubuntu users can use it.
