Oiver,

Just checked http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads-ubuntu-x86.php
there is in fact no package matching your kernel version 2.6.15_52_386

You should consider upgrading to the current Ubuntu release Hardy,
before fusing further
But if you want to stick with your current release for a while, the
easied fix is to go to
http://packages.ubuntu.com
Use the search pane
Specify your Ubuntu release
search for linux-image-2.6.15-50-386
Download it
Under Linux install with
$ sudo dpkg -i linux*.deb

Also from http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads-ubuntu-x86.php
download the  hsfmodem-7.68.00,full_k2.6.15_50_386_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip
Don' install it yet.

First reboot under the new 2.6.15-50386 kernel choice.
Then do the hsfmodem install
