Hello, I have problems trying to configure a modem in Ubuntu Linux 8.04. I have tried with every .deb package and have no success. I'm appending the ModemData.txt in this mail and I hope that you can help me. I only need the modem for internet by dial up.
By the way, I am noting something strange, because in Ubuntu Linux my modem is recognized like an ATI modem, but in Winbugs Xp it says is an "AC97 Data Fax SoftModem with SmartCP" (CXT). Maybe I'm wrong and it is totally normal.
