for those who are interested I finally was able to send the log file after I subscribe to the list. It went up on the web site before the messages about me having trouble sending it. now back to my modem Update Manager wants to install security updates which will change the kernel to 2.6.24-18 should I install them before we continue to get my modem to work ?
