Problem with kernel 2.6.24

Hi,
I'm using a kernel 2.6.24 with a  Modem [0703]: Motorola SM56 Data FaxModem [1057:3052] (rev 04) and the modem connects just once, the nexttry fails and the modem doesn't responde anymore,  So I need torestart slamr kernel module to connect again. On 2.6.22 and 2.6.23 itworks fine. Anybody can help me?
