Many have complained that kernel 2.6.24.3-12.fc8. has broken many things, like eth0, wireless etc. There are other kernels on koji, you might need to get a kernel from there and kernel-devel as well and test it out. I have a Fedora 8 machine, but it is currently down. I would like to test it as well and report back. I am having troubles with slmodem-2.9.11-20080XYY.tar.gz package for slmodemd which supports smartlink modems. Regards, Antonio
