The latest version is net-dialup/hsfmodem-7.68.00.04-r1 which will install hsfmodem-7.68.00.04full.tar.gz if that is current enough? Simply run the command: emerge hsfmodem and gentoo will download, compile, and install hsfmodem software. The system will leave you with the message: "To complete the installation and configuration of your HSF modem," "please run hsfconfig."
