Steve, For martian_modem under Ubuntu Feisty, additional required packages are linux-libc-dev & libc6-dev Download them through http://packages.ubuntu.com if they are not on your install CD. Once both in your Linux partition, Co-install them with: $ sudo dpkg -i li*.deb >From At http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/ltmodem/kernel-2.6/martian/ get the martian-full-20071011.tar.gz . Unpack under Linux with: $ tar zxf mar*.tar.gz Read the documantation in the unpacked folder.
