Charl,

You have good fortune to have so easily brought this modem into dialup service,
as it is one the least supported by LSI (formerly Agere) of their modems.
LSI has released the code, and left us to work out updates with
increasing kernel version
Fax service would be encoded in the precompiled agrmodemlib.o
agrsm_core.o components.
So I would suspect that the FAX code is not included in them, or at
least has not been ported from the original Microsoft code to Linux.
This is a common situation with Linux modem drivers.  If the Fax
service is a must, best buy a Controller chipset modem.
