The  SuSE variant of the agrsm software does (as I informed) contain
the recognition codes for
SoftChip=11c11040
But our best code expert Alexei Chentsov has since provided some sad detail.
There is lacking a code layer for support of High Definition Audio
cards, including your
CLASS="Class 0403: 8086:284b"
NAME="Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H "

Evidently there is some intention on the part of chipset manufacture
Agere/LSI to further implement 11c11040 support, but they haven't
fully implmented it yet.
