Hello,

I have a laptop (Toshiba Satellite L40-14N) with that "new" Agere
softmodem builtin (0x11c11040). There are already a few bug reports open
for it at ALSA, as it doesn't work with the snd-hda-intel driver; but
all I could find was that an LSI contact had said that they are working
on a Linux driver (did I get that right?). Has there been any news about
this topic? Is there some code available for testing? I'd really like to
get the modem working, but don't see a way yet!

Btw. I've written down the information about the modem in my laptop at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ToshibaSatelliteL40-14N . Is
there any other important info I forgotten?

Thanks,
Oliver Gerlich
