I installed the pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-7.tar.gz package as the scanModem suggest.

All went right until the step 3. "Loading your driver permanently" of
the Readme.txt file.

I don't know what to do next.

The Pctel.txt file refers to a command: "ls -l /dev/ttyS_PCTEL0" but
didn't work. I attached the result

What should I do?

My system is a OpenSuse 10, my modem a pctel789 chipset and pci card.
I am actually running a Ethernet card with a web server. May that
affected to the modem?
