Jack, The paucity of the diagnostics suggests Subsystem 1025:102b has a Conexant modem chip. Another Subsystem known to have this chip is 103c:002a. If you run in test/faking mode $ sudo ./scanModem test 10b9:5457 103c:002a if will output the directions for getting the hsfmodem software supporting Conexant modems. You can also get modem chip info by running diagnostics under Microsoft as described in SoftModem.txt Test the hsfmodem software and report back presently please.
