Your modem is likely a Subsystem in
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

 But Update=2005_April_19 is ancient, and does parse
 High Definition Audio Controllers

 Browse http://linmodems.technion.ac.il   and
 download the current scanModem.gz . Within a Linux partition
    gunzip scanModem.gz
 To make it executable:
    chmod +x scanModem
 Run diagnositics with:
    ./scanModem
Only the ouput ModemData.txt should be sent to Discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
