Ciro,

After an usual success with the slamr driver for a 1057:3052 chipset modem,
I put the recogition codes for other Motorola modems in the slamr
ccode, including your 1057:5600 in hope they might also be served.
But from the failure you report and also one prior, it seems that
1057:5600 cannot thus be supported.

You will need other modem hardware for service under Linux.
Read the InfoGeneral.txt about the alternatives.
