The modem should be found by:
$ sudo wvdialconf  /etc/wvdial.confAFterward edit in your dialout info with:$ sudo gedit   /etc/wvdial.confremoving the ;  and replacing the <xxx> blocks.
Then dialout with:$ sudo wvdial
Run twice  ./scanModemto output more information
