Patrick When run in test mode $ ./scanModem test 14f1:1033 xxxx:yyyy the expected information that yours is a HCF modem is output. so its not apparent what the problem is on FC7 Of course you do need a hcflinmodem package from www.linuxant,com. But please run: # bash -x ./scanModem test 14f1:1033 xxxx:yyyy 2>&1 | tee fc7.txt # gzip fc7.txt and send me the fc7.txt.gz , so I can identify the problem. Hello, I have successfully used scanModem in my FC4 box but now that I have upgraded to FC7 it will not detect with this same application. I am attaching the resultant ModemInfo.txt to this message as well as a modeminfo file with I saved from my FC4 installation. Please help me out. Patrick
