MarvS,

I'll, *with trepidation*, install and test martian on my system. Test
results will be reported this weekend.

Peace,

warnings

Gary,

Warnings during a compile of Linux code are typically harmless.
Go ahead and try the driver.
But I'm copying to maintainer Alexei

Remember after a first test:
$ sudo wvdialconf  /etc/wvdial.conf
to edit in your personal info with:
$ sudo gedit  /etc/wvdial.conf
 replacing the <????> blocks with your personal info and also add two
lines:
Carrier Check  =  no
# needed for support of /dev/pts/N ports
