download the hcfpcimodem_1.13full_k2.6.15_23_386_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip
Copy to your Linux partition.
$ gunzip hcf*.zip
Install with:
$ sudo dpkg -i hcf*.deb
Follow the ouput instructions.
Reboot
The modem should be found by:
$ sudo wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
Replace the <xxxx> blocks with your personal infor with
$ sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf
Then dialout with:
$ sudo wvdial
MarvS
scanModem maintainer
