But may I ask, why do you insist using a driver file different from the
one suggested in ModemData.txt (a precompiled SLMODEMD package rather
than slmodem-2.9.11-20070505 ) ?
Furthermore, as far as I know, ungrab-modem is needed for kernels much
older than yours, but I may be wrong on that.

Um, I did and copied ModemData.txt into my initial email. What else do
you need (or should I have attached it?)?
1stRead.txt says I should only send _this_ informations.
