All slmodemd users Please check your ALSA version now and when you upgrade with: $ aplay --version if version 1.0.13 is reported, you may need to use the slmodemd within the package SLMODEMD-1.0.13.tar.gz which should soon be mounted at http://phep2.technion.ac.il/linmodems/packages/smartlink/ Thanks to Bernard for running the comparison test. ok, i copied the new slmodemd file into /usr/sbin/ and it all seems to work fine.
