The HDA card softmodem chip is 0x11c11040 is a new softmodem chip and really NOT within the supported Si3054 family It is Not a snd-hda-intel driver issue per se. Rather AgereSystems/now LSI Inc. is working towards support, but without any firm date. Read InfoGeneral.txt about alternatives.
