The soft modem Motorola sm56 - PCI Device 1057:3052 - can be used with slamr & 
slmodemd with a simple patch to amrmo_init.c (under drivers directory):

Although some errors, I've been able to connect (using kppp on /dev/ttySL0) at 
33600 bps.

Can you help me to connect at 56600?
