Sorry to take so long but myrealbox went down, just now back online. Earlier attempts failed to send this.

Below is requested information: the ubuntu dialup url; configuration error; & catch 22 quote from the tutorial.

Near Newport WA. Not sure other than modemdata.txt attachment would help. Followed ubuntu's dial up tutorial for this modem; confused about how to setup pon & poff & how to create files (forgot - poor mem) & did not create symlink file in /etc/.../ Regards zerpnero
