Archival info is lacking on:      Primary PCI_id  1039:7013    Subsystem PCI_id  104d:8134and the diagnostics did not complete.
Forward steps are one:>From the Device Manager under Microsoft try to get some chipset info.Read SoftModem.txt for howto details.
Detach all your USB devices which may be competing, and run$  sudo ./scanModemSend us the new ModemData.txt and any Info from the Microsoft boot.
But the modem controller type should be alternatively (not both)supported by either ALSA drives or the Linuxant hsfmodem package.
