Tony,
scanModem can only read PCI cards and did not detect a PCI card modem
on your System. But send us the outputs of
$ lspci
$ lspci -nv
just in case there is a PCI modem with an unusal Class designation.
Also read the instructions from SoftModem.txt for getting modem
chipset iinformation under a Microsoft boot.
