has a SIL27 codec of an AgereSystems soft modem

In principle, there should be support through:
------------
Download from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/
the package SLMODEMD.gcc4.tar.gz having a compiled slmodemd. Unpack under Linux
with:
       $ tar zxf SLMODEMD.gcc4.tar.gz
and read instructions therein. But briefly, the modem is setup with command:
       sudo slmodemd -c YOUR_COUNTRY --alsa modem:1
reporting dynamic creation of ports:
       /dev/ttySL0 --> /dev/pts/N   , with N some number
----------

However these:

-> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10
[17179574.176000] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:1f.6 disabled
-----------
Indicatea problem. Run scanModem twice. Read Smartlink.txt about your
modem type. Then read Bootup.txt about possible bootup fixes.
Send dmesg.txt along with ModemData.txt to discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
if help is needed.

Hi! Can you help me to configure my winmodem please? Thank you!

 Only plain text email is forwarded by the DISCUSS@xxxxxxxxxxxxx List Server.
 Do use the following as the email Subject Line:
           SomeName, YourCountry Ubuntu 6.10 kernel 2.6.17-10-generic
 This will alert cogent experts, and distinguish cases in the Archives.
 YourCountry will enable Country Code guidance.
 Occassionally responses are blocked by an Internet Provider mail filters.
 So in a day, also check the Archived responses at http://www.linmodems.org .
 Local Linux experts can be found through: http://www.linux.org/groups/index.html

Modem or host audio card candidates have firmware information:

 PCI slot PCI ID SubsystemID Name
 ----------     ---------       ---------       --------------
 00:1f.6        8086:24c6       0e11:0860       Modem: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM

 Modem interrupt assignment and sharing:
 10:      47497          XT-PIC  uhci_hcd:usb1, ohci1394, Intel 82801DB-ICH4, eth0, radeon@pci:0000:01:00.0

[17179574.176000] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:1f.6 disabled

 The PCI slot 00:1f.6 of the modem card may be disabled early in
 a bootup process, but then enabled later. If modem drivers load
 but the modem is not responsive, read Bootup.txt about possible fixes.
 Send dmesg.txt along with ModemData.txt to discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
 if help is needed.
