Tickets/Topics

 * UI: Add arrow size field spinbox to the sidebar
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=164928
   + hesitant to add more controls to the sidebar, in general, but
     not blocking on this particular topic (Heiko)
   + using drawing styles could be a proper solution out of the box (Heiko)
   + adding the arrow size wouldn't be so bad on the other hand (Sahil)
   + sidebar should be kept clean and simple (Sahil)
   + remark: more complex shapes such as rectangles also have the arrow
     style but setting the attribute wont be effective
   => do it

 * Making Add Text Along Path more accessible by adding it to the sidebar
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165017
   + TAP is not a frequently used feature but rather a once off (Heiko)
   + moving the toolbar onto the sidebar area makes it stack with the other
     control and it could be place there anyway (Heiko)
   + no good reason but marketing even not a11y (John)
   => WF

 * Improving tab handling in pasting
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153176
   + too many assumptions (Stephane)
   + pasting text into the Outline view is supposed to work on the title
     and multiple paragraphs create many slides; changing this breaks
     the workflow of other users (Heiko)
   + request is unclear (John)
   + maybe markdown is a solution, see MD2ODP converter
     https://blog.thebehrens.net/tag/impress/ (or bug 162153)
   => WF

 * Options -> Appearance new LibreOffice Themes panel redesign
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=164970
   + MSO provides "Use system settings" (not the default!) which
     changes then depending on the OS theme; all other MSO themes
     overwrite this OS-level theming - and this is being requested
     here too
   + the simpler the better (John, Sahil)
   + our solution is superior to the static MSO theming (Sahil)
   + add an option to the theme that allows to disable the distinction
     between light/dark and uses always the one color (Heiko)
   + another solution is to default to white document background and
     let those customize who like the dark on the canvas too (assuming
     there are less than the other way) (Heiko)
   + shipping a few themes by default would be good (John)
   + split UI and canvas again (Rizal, John)
     + makes the customization via themes very difficult (Heiko)
     + against multiple extensions per appearance (Sahil)
   => wait for 25.8 to get more user input in any case
