Find and Replace Dialog Code Guidance

I have started working on a Writer feature in Find and Replace Dialog [0]. I have written the "front-end" part of it so far, but I need to get my code validated to see if I am headed in the right direction before I can work on the back-end part of it. 

I've given it a shot here [1]. So, please, experienced devs, don't miss out on the opportunity to laugh and diss at my code and provide some feedback. :)
