Hi,
Subcells is a brand new feature, and yes, you can attach pictures to subcells or to cells if this feature is allowed.

The advantage of subcells is the formatting, as you can split a cell into several cells, without loosing columns.

This increases the spreadsheet formatting resolution, without loosing an entire column.

In this picture, you can see the feature in action.

Thanks for your response Javier,

Attaching pictures to a cell might be a lot easier to program than incorporating subcells?

Hi there,

In Calc, it would be useful to be able to insert a picture as part of a comment for a cell. Currently we can do this with text only.

For example, if I create a spreadsheet accounting ledger I could then embed a picture of the actual receipt associated with an entry. I think this could be quite useful for basic bookkeeping for validating entries and storage of records.

Thank you !
