A "normal" client interface.

Hi,

is there a "normal" client when connecting to a libreoffice server.
(I assume that libreoffice can work as a server).
I know there are several webclients like nextcloud and owncloud.
Is it for example possible to use the normal libreoffice program and
connect to a server
to open and edit a document?
