Yes, things work without "--with-system-gpgmepp", but is seems a pity to have libreoffice compile gpgme in statically when it is available on the system.


If you are building just for yourself, for development, why worry? Let the packagers/distributors/vendors worry about that.

(Sure, I try to use as many system libs as possible myself, too, just to make the build proceed a bit faster, but if there is the slightest problem with one of them, I add a --without-system-foo switch to my autogen.input and get on with what I am actually doing.)
