Hello,

I want to set the TOS of packets that are entering in my network with value 0x00 (or other). For this, I'm using iptables with the next comand:

iptables -t mangle -A FORWARD -i eth1 -s 0/0 -j TOS --set-tos 0x00

The problem ocurrs when my packets have a previous TOS of value difference from 0x00, because the comand do the next operation:

OLD_TOS + 0x00 = OLD_TOS

I would want to know if is possible with iptables, change the TOS of the packets, althought the TOS of the packets that are arriving to my network is difference from 0x00.

Thanks ad Regards.
