I've made a mistake in the second case:

tc qdisc add dev $DEV root handle 1: prio band 1
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1: classid 1:2 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:2 classid 1:3 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:2 classid 1:4 cbq …

tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:1 handle 10: pfifo
tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:3 handle 30: sfq
tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:4 handle 40: sfq

            1:(prio)
           /          \
          /            \
       1:1            1:2
         |             /   \
         |            /     \
        10:       1:3    1:4
        (pfifo)      |        |
                      |        |
                     30:     40:
                    (sfq)   (sfq)

Hi,
I'm work on traffic shaping and I would like to know if it's possible to mix differents Queueing Disciplines ??
I would like to combine the proporties of a PRIO discipline with that of a CBQ discipline.
I read some documentation and I found nothing about that, can you help me ?

I think to try something like that :

tc qdisc add dev $DEV root handle 1: cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1: classid 1:1 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:1 classid 1:10 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:1 prio

Normally I've this tree :

           1:(cbq)
               |
               |
             1:1
           /      \
          /         \
1:10(cbq)      1:??(prio)

Or something like that :

tc qdisc add dev $DEV root handle 1: prio band 2
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1: classid 1:2 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:2 classid 1:3 cbq …
tc class add dev $DEV parent 1:2 classid 1:4 cbq …

tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:1 handle 10: pfifo
tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:3 handle 30 sfq
tc qdisc add dev $DEV parent 1:4 handle 40 sfq

            1:(prio)
           /          \
          /            \
       1:1            1:2
         |             /   \
         |            /     \
        10:       1:3    1:4
        (pfifo)      |        |
                      |        |
                     30:     40:
                    (sfq)   (sfq)

Is it possible ??? (the first solution seems to me not possible)

Thanks.
