HTB: re-init

Linux Advanced Routing and Traffic Control

Hi there,

Being a strong believer in "There is no such thing as a stupid
question", here comes nothing...

At the moment I am working my way through the "HTB Linux queuing
discipline manual - user guide" and I have a question...

I implement the tc commands using a simple bash script. But I have yet
to find a way to adjust the settings. Whenever I do "tc filter del dev
eth1" or "tc class del dev eth1" (in lots of variations) I get a
response from RTNETLINK stating "No such file or directory".

So what I am doing now is rebooting whenever I change the settings...

There must be a better way.... plz!?

regards

Peter Kaagman
