Every time you change your kernel you should re-install iproute2.
Grab iproute-latest (which is a .tar.gz) from :
http://developer.osdl.org/dev/iproute2/download/
remove the old binaries
locate tc rm /sbin/tc (for example)
and then compile and install the new iproute2
