compile a kernel with the required options checked first, like:
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH=y
CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES=y
CONFIG_IP_ADVANCED_ROUTER=y
but i'm not sure if these are the required ones.
