Errors when running wondershaper

I'm trying to run wondershaper in my suse 9.1 box. However, I'm getting 
these errors:

# /etc/init.d/wondershaper restart
Shutting down wondershaper 
Starting wondershaper
Cannot find device "root"

I don't know what they mean. Can anyone help?
