Could you tell me how I can bridge the networks?
There's some bridge howtos, and stuff in the kernel doco: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX/networking.html#NETBRIDGE linux/Documentation/networking/bridge.txt
So a recompile of the kernel isn't possible :(
If it supports modules, you can just build and insert the bridge.o module. Otherwise, well... you won't be able to build a bridge.
